Fairy was found at a few weeks of age, abandoned by her parents and bought into care. She had a healthy appetite throughout her rehabilitation and developed into a strong juvenile. Once she became active and was flying well, she entered into a soft release, whereby she was released, but support food was offered on a daily basis. Fairy has made friends with other wild terns and she still visits the centre.
