Co-Founder, Secretary and Primary Wildlife Rehabilitator Having grown up in the Garden Route of South Africa, Tamara has always been close to nature. Animals have a real affinity with her, and she has been rescuing animals in need since childhood. Tamara is a naturalist and uses intuitive care. She has a deep understanding of animal behavior and body language. She forms close bonds with her patients and is dedicated to their recovery. After moving to the Seychelles in 2015, her fascination with the majestic Seychelles Flying Fox began. Then in 2017 after rescuing the orphaned bat pup “Moses’ from drowning, her deep love for these misunderstood creatures developed. During this time, Tamara carried out research on the “Seychelles Flying Fox” to help her understand its lifestyle and dietary requirements. As one could say “the rest is history” This rescue inspired the team to ultimately create Protect Paradise Seychelles.
